Spring Dreaming

I never intended for this blog to be a "fashion" blog but I couldn't resist posting these Jimmy Choo sandals ($875) I saw on whowhatwear.com. The weather in NYC today has me dreaming of spring, although I think it may be here to stay. These sandals incorporate all of my favorite colors (yes I include tan and black as colors), offer the perfect height and I love the cork on the platform. They would match perfectly with my yellow dress and black cardigan today.

Goal for spring = find a pair that is approximately $800 less than these!

Where's The Snow?

I spent this past weekend 2 hours outside the city in the Poconos in Pennsylvania. Sometimes all you need is a few days away from the city to clear your mind. My two best friends, my boyfriend and 6 of his friends rented a house that was right on the side of the mountain. (Coated in man-made snow of course thanks to this warm winter) This is our "2nd annual trip" and I'm really hoping we can make it tradition to go every year. Leaving the quiet mountain town was hard to do. I wish I could have stayed for a few more days so I could come back fully rejuvenated. Although snowboarding, partying, sleep, repeat isn't the most relaxing; just being able to wake up and see miles of trees and mountains was a breath of fresh air.
