Music to my ears

I couldn't be more excited that one of my favorite bands, I Am The Avalanche was added to the Warped Tour lineup for this summer. First Snowfall

 

Park by the East River. 

                           

We had our first snowfall this past weekend in New York City and I couldn't have been more excited to wake up to a white backyard fire escape. I'll never get over that feeling of waking up and running to the window to take a peak at how much snow has fallen, just like when I'd hope for a snow day. My roommate and I took a stroll in the snow over to East River Park with our thermos of coffee in tow. Yes it was still snowing and freeeezing but it was well worth it. I always visit the park and it has never felt more peaceful. I couldn't help taking a picture of that beautiful berry bush covered in snow, one of the few colorful things that survives the cold.
